Punch needle is a fiber art technique that uses a hollow needle to push loops of yarn through fabric, creating a textured surface. Our punch needle kits come with the pattern printed directly on pre-stretched monk’s cloth, so there’s no tracing, transferring, hooping, or counting required.

There’s a small learning curve, but most beginners get the hang of the basic motion quickly. The biggest things are punching your needle all the way through the fabric until the wooden handle touches the canvas, keeping plenty of slack in your yarn, and grazing the fabric surface with your needle when you pull back up and move forward for your next stitch. Most punch needle and mosaic kits take approximately 2–4 hours, depending on the size and your pace. Mobile kits take approximately 2 hours. There’s no need to finish in one sitting—part of the pleasure is picking it up whenever you want a screen-free break.

Our punch needle kits come in three sizes: Small (8.5" × 8.5"), Medium (10" × 10"), and Large (10" × 14"). All are beginner-friendly and use the same stitch technique, so choose based on the design, finished size, and amount of making time you want.

Each kit includes a pre-stretched monk’s cloth canvas with the design printed directly on it, curated yarn, a wooden punch needle and threader, written instructions, and access to video guidance. You’ll just need a pair of scissors from home—no hoop, tracing, pattern transfer, or other special tools required.

We’re picky about our yarn—color, texture, softness, and quality all matter, and we source each one with the finished piece in mind. Each mosaic kit includes a cradled wood panel with the design printed directly on it, natural stone mosaic tiles, a tile cutter, mosaic glue, and step-by-step instructions. The finished design does not require grout.

Everything essential is included. We recommend having a small towel on hand to cover the tile cutter while cutting, which helps contain small pieces and debris.

No. Our mosaic designs are made to be completed without grout, making the process simpler and letting the natural stone and wood remain part of the finished look.

The mosaic is made on a solid wood panel and is designed to be displayed as-is—no framing required. Lean it on a shelf or against a wall, or add your own hanging hardware to display it on the wall.

Each mobile kit includes pre-cut wooden pieces, six paint colors, two paintbrushes, brass wire for assembling your mobile, clear hanging wire, and step-by-step instructions.

You’ll need a pair of scissors from home. Tweezers or small pliers can also be helpful when working with the wire, but they’re not necessary.

Your mobile can hang flat against a wall for a more graphic, art-object feel, or hang freely from a ceiling, shelf, or other secure point so the pieces can move and turn. Clear hanging wire is included.
