Hi! I’m Kate, and I started Both Hands Crafts because, as a lifelong crafter, I know there’s something truly special about making things with our own two hands—something we don’t get enough of in our busy, screen-filled lives. Crafting scratches a fundamental human itch to create, to feel embodied, purposeful, and inspired.

Over the years, I’ve found that I love the ease of a kit to try out new craft projects—but the designs were often cutesy or off-trend, and I’d find myself losing interest or feeling mixed emotions about the final product…proud of what I’d made but unsure how it fit into my overall home style.

Both Hands Crafts is about making the creative experience of crafting accessible and meaningful with designs that fit in a modern home. Our kits are simple crafts that are beginner friendly, and we save you time by curating quality materials in modern color palettes and designs you’ll want to keep. You can make them in an afternoon, a weekend, or stretch them out over a few weeks—on your own, with your kids, however you like.
